Border Crossing 4/22/2013
I meant to post this over a week ago, but forgot. It was a great feeling of accomplishment to cross in to North Carolina. This was at the 78 mile mark.
Hi! I am so glad you are blogging about your experience. I am loving reading about all your adventures. It seems like you are having an amazing time. I usually read the blog in my office while I'm on lunch which makes me want to immediately run and quit my job but then I pump the brakes on that idea. (who would provide for Louis' lifestyle?!? :) ) I'm so glad you have made a friend along the way. I would hate for you to be doing this all by yourself. Plus, I am sure it is much more exciting sharing the journey with someone. Let's talk about your name-McGayver!? Love it!!!! I think it's perfect. You are very handy with things. I can't wait to read more about your trip. Travel safe and stay away from the snakes! -Megan p.s - I've tried to post a comment before but I wasn't very successful.
You look great! It was so nice to talk to you the other night, but I sure wish I could see you. Thanks for the new pictures...what a gorgeous view! If I close my eyes I can almost feel like I'm there and even imagine the wonderful smell of the forest. Take care of yourself..you are always on my mind. Big hugs
